Hi all,

The push-on retainer that keeps the split bench seat on the driver's side isn't staying on the little peg that the seat pivots on, when I fold down the seat. I'm not sure if there is supposed to be sort of groove that the retainer sits in but there seems to be none. Any ideas on how I can keep the front seat from sliding off when folding it forward? I was going to see if there was maybe enough room for a hose clamp to butt up against the retainer but I think it would be very tight. maybe cut a new groove, if there is supposed to be one?

Thanks,
Mikey

Try new push on retainer or ... I have seen people drill a small hole and put a cotter pin through it and then cut it off short

Get a new retainer for both sides

Should be able to find a similar one to the orginal at a hardware store. They look something like this, but you get the idea.
