Looking for a little help.
How do you remove the trim that is on the drip rail?
I have the trim removed that is below the rear glass, and the piece in the corner with the rivot.
Thanks

There are tools, but, the easiest is to use a bottle opener taped up..

So you just gently pry the edge up, working down the rail?

Yep. Its scary until it starts popping, then it sails.

How about putting them back on? Rubber mallet? Fist? Start at one end, middle or all at once? Drawn to this thread because I'm going to install some on my 73 road runner.

When i put mine on the coronet, they just pressed on
where they didnt seat completely, I used a rubber mallet to gently
tap them down

take ur time and u will b fine

Mine didn't want to come off. I used the bottle opener method and even taped up the opener as recommended. Still ended up denting the trim in places. I'm thinking that I should have gently heated up the drip rail trim first to loosen any 40 year old adhesive underneath.
