I went to look at a 69 Charger this morning.

What’s it worth without a title?

What’s it worth with a title?

He lost the binder with all receipts and title. It was a Florida title from an estate 15 yrs ago, Deceased previous owner

Below is the description and all the info I got as well as a few photos I snapped. I looked at it pretty well and can answer questions.

69 Charger Matching number. Project but very solid. No bucket seats and center console is out and junk. Motor rebuilt and fresh. Body painted 15 yrs ago and been sitting since, various dings and scratches from garage life. Interior looks real good. Dent in roof from a limb. Gouge in side. Other then that just filthy from sitting 15 yrs.

Drivers side floor pan has been replaced. Looks professionally done with surface rust now. Rest of the floor pans have undercoating. It’s a full length drivers side floor pan. Dash and gauges perfect. Door panels great. Bottom door lips no rust at all. Trunk pan no holes. Just a little surface grit painted over.
Needs front grille installed, back lights installed and wired up, tires, 2 bucket seats, center console and I’m sure some Misc stuff. Its been painted, brakes gone trhough, new gas tank, matching numbers automatic. Dash, door panels are great, carpet is new but dusty. Chrome is all driver quaility or better. Glass is perfect

need more info.
Does it have the fender tag / build sheet?
is it a real rt?
manual or auto?
any good options?

looks like a nice car that I would get running and drive all day though.

Id pay 7K for that car. the price would go up with more information that you give.

Fender tag - Yes
Build sheet - in binder with title lost for now
R/T - No... just an R/T grille
Center console automatic.

My question was/is

$$$ with a title?

and

Without a title....

Titles can be gotten. Its a hassle, but it doesnt really devalue the car. As long as it isnt a stolen car or a "fake" car. May cost a couple of bucks though. The seller should cover that cost.

Title and build sheet have been found...

Throw me some numbers guys...

I saw a $7k opinion.. anyone else?

I either need to act on it or walk away..I'm on the fence about it. I havent heard it run yet either.

7K no way! I see rusty project all the time for 5K-6K.10k-12 easy once you bring it home and get it running and back together high teens. If you buy it I will take it on trade for my 71....

Imo probably around 6-8, would be a fairly easy project from the sounds of it. I say go for it :icon_thumleft:

I paid 11 for a numbers matching R/T SE basketcase, although the guy probably could've gotten more for it. Stu's right though, the market for 2nd gens is always good.

11,000 even is fair. there was a day when cars just like it were going for 20K. the days of picking them in good condition like that for 5K are long gone

As others have said a shot of the fender tag and if possible the build sheet would be uber helpful, if you don't have that do you at least know the VIN or first 5 digits Which provides exact model and engine originally optioned? 7th digit provides the build location. But absent that it looks to be worth the $7K to me ... Chargers are always desirable and sought after. Is it an A4 with green or is that black top on fender tag? I've had a rought week and I'm a little tired and punch drunk ... sorry :)

5K

Are those the original quarters and rear window channel without rust?~~~~ +1-2K

Are they bad replacements with a lot of bondo?~~~~ -2K

Top's been replaced...and it's not right...where else did they cut corners?

Run and drive?~~~+ 1K
