Pete, no disrespect, I know your really familiar with Gen 2 Chargers. I'm with the majority 25k max. And I know it has sunroof and power windows, but me personally I wouldn't want either one.
He does restoration for a living,I think after putting musclecars together all day,he ust isn't feeling like doing his own.But the way it sits right now is the lowest of low value in that car's life If he can finish what he started he should
If he is just burnt out from working on it he should just pack it away and come back to it later when he has more gusto to work on it
That's not going to happen. The right person who wants these options will pay 40 for the car. Personally if it were my car, I would paint it F6 green with a white interior, vinyl top and tailstripe. That car would be stunning. I am going to recommend that he install the mint factory floor pan in the car before he puts it on the market.Pete, no disrespect, I know your really familiar with Gen 2 Chargers. Is the new sheetmetal it needs included in the sale?My friend is considering selling his 69 Charger R/T SE sunroof car. It's a loaded car in triple F8 green. The car needs a complete restoration, but comes with many parts that are restored or very nice original pieces. Car is dismantled and on a rotisserie at the current time. Engine is non matching numbers, but I believe it is date correct. The car needs the typical Charger sheetmetal work. Supposedly one of only 29 built. What's it worth in the current second generation Charger market.
Its not really listed per sayPower windows
Power Sunroof
SE package leather seats, woodgrain dash etc.
Air conditioning.
AM 8 track with speaker dash
6 way drivers seat
Not sure if it has cruise control or not.
The 4 speed Charger R/T you mentioned is under market at 70k why hasn't it sold? The lack of documentation must be holding it back.
One of 28 possibly.. I've in my 45 yeara of Mopar Only Life have seen one. In Canada. Once owned by Nick Panaritis. (Nicks Garage). I was lucky enough to have be allowed to sit in it, (LoL). Hell I own a 1 of 2 A12 Roadrunner (with C62) "6-Way Driver Seat". OEM block and A-727. I doubt I could get $80K out of it TODAY. Never know as "They're only worth what someone will pay".My friend is considering selling his 69 Charger R/T SE sunroof car. It's a loaded car in triple F8 green. I have not been scouring the forums like I used to - just came across this post. Pete, any updates on your friends sunroof car. I have been trying to catch up with this one. I have it in the Sunroof Registry, but have not been able to track down a fender tag picture to move it out of the "orphan" section of the registry. This is the only F8 R/T SE that I have come across so far. Thanks! Scott.Power windows

Don't call them dog dishes, call them dog schit!will he be running dog dishes?
Chargers are in a league of their own,and sunroof Chargers are even more so.I just don’t see somebody giving 40k plus on a green NOM car. That would imply it would bring well over 100k done. Well over. Not happening. Too many doors open at that point. Probably his best move is to do the job. Not many new people coming into the hobby that will accept a project laying all over the floor in front of them. Guys that will fool with that know it’s a dangerous game to play at any price, let alone big top dollar price.
Then it should be common to see examples going for 140k. Nobody is saying those aren’t rare. A basket case green one lacking numbers driveline isn’t a super one to set the market on fire. I think you’ve said in the past you’ve had a high number of chargers. It’s easy to get jaded and lose sight that a pile of parts is harder to find a buyer for than that blue car that was mentioned. We’re talking 30k more to get a super desirable car that’s all ready to go versus a huge money commitment and years of labor.Chargers are in a league of their own,and sunroof Chargers are even more so.

With only 29 ever built, they are all going to set the market on fire. There are no common examples. Then it should be common to see examples going for 140k. Nobody is saying those aren’t rare.
