69 Charger Rear Upper Pad Placement

In the process of installing a new rear upper pad on my 69 Charger. It's been 25 years since I pulled the old pads off, so I do not recall the exact look once they are installed.

Almost in place, and it looks like the forward edge of the pad, that turns into the door jamb, sits on top of the windlace. Is that correct?

Thanks, I hought that was probably the correct way, but the windlace still had what I thought was the original bend at the bottom that follows the door opening (J-Shaped) and I put those in place first. Appreciate the input!
