69 charger vinyl or non-vinyl drip rail stainless: Visual Difference?

So I see from several posts over the years that the drip rail stainless trim is different if the car came with a vinyl top or did not. If someone is selling this trim, other than taking their word how do you know the difference? Is it just a crapshoot until you try to install it?

Vinyl top trim has a green or blue strip on underside

I'll measure the widths for you today... since I have one car of each in the shop..

Outside width...

Painted top trim measures at 0.5095" to 0.5135" give or take.

Vinyl top trim measures at 0.5355" to 0.54" give or take

And just in case there's a difference, which I would hope there isn't. The painted car is a Dodge and the Vinyl top car is a Plymouth.
