No local members. I got to tell you, between here and A-body, I have had a lot of responses and suggestions. The community has come together well, and I appreciate it. I have a guy with a shop who has an open bay, and he is going to take it on this winter, and work on it here and there. He estimates 10-20 hours ?? ..to do it all the wiring and replace electronics. ... I trust him as I have dealt with him for a few years. Just didn't think he wanted to get into this, but things are tough, and holidays are coming.. Happy Thanksgiving All. Dave

Bought the American Auto Wire full kit today for $1234, black Friday discount..

All I need now is wheels, tires, windshield, carpet, and a prayer it runs and drives. Will update ..

Guy called this morning and pulled out of the sale.. wtf......!!!! No, I didn't give him a deposit because I was unsure of the cost for labor and who would take it on, more than an issue of parts. I called him when I got the guy to do the wiring job, and everything was good. It's not now. Damn. I was " lucky " I got the wiring kit canceled this morning.

This is a job you can do. You can't make it worse, so dive in and replace the harness.

Guy backed out from selling the car to him... was listed on Marketplace here in Ontario.

I thought it was his as well when I asked "so the car isnt' for sale now" thinking he found a guy to do the work and took it off the market.
