69 Coronet - trunk hinge plastic blocks

Hey guys - The white plastic blocks that slide on the spring bars which the trunk lid rides on -
Is there a clip/cap that goes on the end of the spring bar to keep the white block from sliding off?

(Not called a spring bar, but its what makes the lid fly open, hence the name LOL)

That's it.. There are not any clips which keeps that block from slipping off? Mine like to try and ride out to the very end of the bar.

No clips where used on the ends. Do you have the rubber sleeve on the torsion rods where they overlap in the center? this helps keep the rods from walking

I have these.I took them off the parts car. I meant at the end of the white block. In the photo above. The clips in the ebay link mount on he fixed bolt which goes through the hinge bar.

I have the rubber sleeve as well as the S clip that goes on the rods PM me an e-mail address for pics
