I have a 69 GTX 440 with CVF Serpentine kit and have been searching this site to see which Electric Fans folks are running on these cars with no luck. Doesn’t have any room for dual fans due to Serpentine kit, would appreciate any advice or pics of anyone running this system, Thanks

I have the stock belts and pulleys - mounted a 16 inch pusher fan on the front of the stock 22 inch radiator. Not enough room behind the radiator even with stock pulleys. With no fan or shroud makes it much easier to change the oil filter and work on the front of the engine.
Made two brackets to attach fan to the radiator mounting bits of metal. The fan sits off the radiator core about 2 mm.
The way I did it you can remove/install the radiator with the fan mounted to it.
Cools fine.

It is a Davies Craig an Australian manufacturer.

Yes 440 motor but stock. One fan does the job with zero problem. It will only operate at traffic lights never runs while the car is on the highway.
I think the fan is rated around 2200 CFM.
Position the fan at the top part of a downflow radiator core - this is where the water is hottest going in to the radiator from the top hose.

On the Plymouth there is also a wind deflector plate that attaches to the front bumper and irons.
Not sure about a Dodge.
This directs the air when at speed to go through the radiator rather than "spill" under the car.
You may get airflow problems at speed without the plate.

Ok thanks any pics of the deflector plate for the Plymouth also what brand is the fan you’re using, really appreciate your input

Check post #4 Davies Craig - above the pics. If you get a fan look for one with a big powerful fan motor.
Sorry I do not have any pics of the sheet metal plate. Someone else will be able to post one hopefully.
Someone listed one for sale a while ago.

I had a bit of a search around and if the part is missing it appears they are reproduced by AMD.
Roseville calls them "Front Bumper Lower Shield" good picture as well.
$150 brand new.

16" Brushless Fan Kit

Delta Pag... 2.63 thick, minimal airflow restriction, low electrical draw, 21 amps at start-up 3200 CFM.... The body/motor & blades are all designed to move max air while not impeding airflow when not running...

This is the fan used by many of the heavy hitters in Drag-n-Drive events including Finnegan, Steve Morris, Tom Bailey and quite a few others, including a few local buddies of mine
