69 Ignition switch question.

The ignition switch on my satallite works ok, but when you pull the key out the whole cylinder comes out with the key.
Is there a part missing or broken... can it be fixed or do i need a whole new switch?

myne used to do that i got a cylender from orileys and put it in and it stoped.

FYI- '69 is a one year only I believe.

By chance did you ever get that fixed? I have the same problem...Hope you still have the same email address, or if anyone reads this any ideas? it seems like the A01 light package that has the ignition lamp with the timer relay has it;s own little bracket but the key switch itself is smaller and falls right through the hole? is this cuz previous owner may have bought the wrong year switch? seems like that is the case anyone??
