Hi all, have a question concerning these switches. In 81 mine was replaced with the superseded part cause one of the canceling cams lost part of the ear. Ok dealer had superseded part on shelf. Replaced no big deal fast forward and have the original switch still but was wondering if anyone has tried to splice in the white cam plate in from day Year One for 17-20.00 dollars with good luck and still have there oem switch work? Would like to have that switch back in but superseded parts works and was new in the day. Just wanting that original switch back in if the cheap fix works if not I’ll bite the bullet for one year only switch or good used. Thanks for input brothers
