69 Roadrunner Hard to Start After Setting for Long Periods

I've owned my 440 Superbird for 34+ years now, haven't as much as touched an idle mixture screw in that time frame. My Bee spent 14 years in a marine container. I pulled it out, broke the pump intake line off and hooked up an outboard motor kicker can to same. Started and idled on the 2nd crank...
