I did it to mine , it was pretty easy you need the hardware and the hard plastic inserts that go down in the seat backs to hold the head rests in and the head rests of course .
New hogs ring to put the seat covers back on . I gathered all my stuff used but i think they make it all new now also .
I think on your car there is something missing in the frame of the seat backs. When I had the car, I felt around the back and as you probably know there doesn't seem to be any frame inside, on top. Not sure if that was normal or if these seats are maybe off of a early build 68 and maybe they were different? Did you take one apart?
