I posted our story in the welcome wagon but just to give an idea we (our North Cosat Brewery sponsored Lemons racing team) was given a ragged out wagon. We want to lemons race it. I am familiar with newer chargers and own a couple but the older (and cooler) stuff I have no idea. That said we have a 318 motor and 3 on the tree trans but want a floor shift of some sort and would like an extra clutch or two. We also want disc brakes. The help we need is that we have no idea what parts are currently on the car or which ones will fit without insane modifications. With all that said can someone help tell us what we want to buy? What will help us finish a weekend endurance race? How do I know what rear end we have? What clutch? Etc etc. Thanks in advance

I tried to go to a VIN decoder but all I found out was that the "price class" is "high", that it is indeed a station wagon, that it was built in St. Louis, and that it has the 318. Beyond that I didn't learn anything.

BRakes go with wilwood, they make big disc brake conversion for your vehicle, as far as rearend goes post a picture of the housing or follow this guide

If I remember the Lemons laws correctly you can only spend $500 including the purchase on the car. So are you looking for donation of parts cuz $500 won't go very far on an old mopar.

You are correct on the $500 thing. We were given the car as it was abandon. Brakes are considered safety and don't count toward the budget. In exchange for helping my girls father tear down an old RV we were given the 360 motor and really clean radiator. And as a super backup I took the 5.2 318 out of my wrecked 94 jeep grand cherokee. Was told bell housing bolts are the same...would just have to convert car to TBI. So the entire budget is going toward suspension. WE want to keep the motor as is. I have a Edelbrock intake for a 4bbl carb but I want to get an adapter to keep the carb 2bbl. All the rest we are doing to the car is going to be elbow grease (other then a few spare parts like clutch). Also in the rules you can sell parts off the car in order to get more budget and thats how I'm hoping to fund getting some sort of floor shift since our current 3 spd on the tree has no synchros and the younger guys on our team are really scared of it. We are also scared of the rear end as the older man that owned it before apparently used it to tow and launch his boat into the ocean thereby dipping the rear in salt water over and over. But to answer question I don't expect donation of parts. Totally willing to pay fair prices.
