69 super bee fender work question

Next are the front fenders. Curious how other guys have positioned or what you have used to hold these so that you can work on them. They are very flexible but also not a flat edge to lay them on to actually work on different parts of them.

Mount them to the car and get it right the first time, they are not reproduced.

I have an ol rectangular table top, that i covered with a moving blanket. We put an upright fender on each long side, covering the corner, and shot screws, with washers, through the bolt holes, into the wooden top. And supported the bottom edge, with a cardboard box. One on each side. Worked great, for the outer sides.
