Hey all,
So after getting the correct wiring harness for the Rallye cluster installed, things are starting to come on line. The gauges are working, all cluster lights, exterior lights, and brake lights, and turn signals. However, inside when I turn on the parking/headlights (new switch) the right turn signal indicator, inside, comes on. This happened with the old switch, too. Also, the passenger front marker/turn signal is dim compared to the driver side BUT when I turn on the hazzard switch, with the headlight switch either switched to parking lights and/ or headlights, it turns the same brightness as the driver side.
For S&G I flipped the 4 connection hazzard plug on the switch and the parking indicator still illuminated when the headlight switch was in parking lights or headlights. Then I unplugged the hazzard switch and the parking / headlamps and gauge cluster still worked but my passenger marker light went out.
Could this be a faulty hazzard switch? Is the parking indicator supposed to illuminate as a warning that your maker/headlights are on? Which way is the 4 terminal hazzard connector supposed to connect? There is that little bump on the connector but I'm not sure if it's supposed to face the passenger or driver side, when connected.
Thanks,
Mikey
