I'm trying to get these quarter windows out, is there a trick to this?
I have taken the screws that go in to the post out and the latch at the rear. any help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks Darrell

Mine were already out of the car but I think that they have some sealant also, so maybe scoring between the frame and window frame will loosen them up.

well I used a putty knife carefully between the frame and the window and it did loosen it up but can't get it out do to the window trim. wasn't really sure how to get the trim off without bending it so I just stopped. Do I need one of those special trim removal tools or are there any other tricks I can try without damaging the trim.

It is not fun taking them out. I had all of the interior out when I did mine. I am trying to think how I did mine but my brain does not want to work. I do remember there is a certain angle to get them in and out. I think you have to let the lower front part of the window slide down while letting the back corner come out. Sorry I am not helping you but I know there is a certain way it goes in and out.

Well I went back out there yesterday to look at it and the adhesive tape had started to let go at the top of the window channel. the window is able to move around now but still can't get it out, afraid I'm going to bust the glass pulling on it.

What else do you have removed as far as trim on the inside? Lower metal panel? I wish I could go out and look at my car but it is not here with me right now.

So what did you do to finally get them out? I still have not made it over to look at my car...........sorry. Jim
