3White - That's a tough Q. I'll take all the help I can get, thanks a lot. I would prefer one that is drivable, let's put it that way. Doesn't have to be perfect, but if there is no rust, the frame and undercarriage are very nice, and the body is clean with good but slightly faded paint, I could put an engine and trans into it. Honestly, if it's a driver, after I enjoy it a bit, I would put an SilverSport OD trans into it, anyway so I would totally look at a project. Budget - If I could find a '69 like this for around this price, I'd be a happy man: For Sale: 1968 Dodge Super Bee in temecula, California . I could even go about 10k more if the car were in better shape. Just not sure they exist. It's like trying to find a white elephant. But from what I'm told and have learned, I should be able to get a good driver like that one for around that price or slightly less... I just haven't seen them.

Personal preference. Get a 440. No 70 Color on a 68.

68-69 Super Bees are not cheap. Usually over 50k for a nice driver. If you find something nice under 50k, that is a solid #3, you are doing good. Most #2 Bees are north of 75k. That’s why that purple 68 was attractive at 36k. Last year I sold a 68 Coronet 440/Super Bee Clone, that was a solid #3 car, for 45k, and it sold quick.
