Are the knurls the same for both? I have an A-body 8 3/4 small bolt pattern. I want to go to 1/2 inch studs and just want to be sure they will fit the axle.

the knurls for the 7/16" studs are smaller than the 1/2" size from the factory, although if you measure them and hunt around, i'm sure you could possibly find 1/2" studs that had the factory knurl size.
just be sure the threads are as long as you need them, and the knurl should be approximately .015 bigger than the axle hole.
check your drum/disc bolt holes to make sure they will work with the 1/2" studs. they may need opened up a drill size or two.
also, ditch the left hand threads as mentioned above.

Even if you switch to 1/2" studs and retain the 4" B.P., you will not find ANY SBP wheels that will accept the bigger studs.
All 4" B.P. wheels are set up for 7/16" studs.

..... unless you find original centerlines for small bolt Mopar that use shoulder mag lugs, which can be used with 1/2" studs.
These are original c/l drilled for 5 on 4, double drilled for 5 on 4 1/2.
