Does anyone know about the ignition wiring change on 70 GTX looks like they keep the feed red wire and black accessory wire out of the plug and have a separate two wire plug and also the new nos switch has a third wire on switch that’s black and is in the place of the selector light wire. Is there a recall on this I’m thinking heating plug up and a schematic for this update?

For a ’70 b-body, insert the Molex terminals into the Molex connector as indicated below. Cut the small black wire from the Molex connector and tape it back or remove the Molex terminal if you have a column shift auto and insert the shift indicator lamp lead in that cavity. Failure to remove the small black wire will result in a blown illumination fuse the first time the car is started with the lights on. Small black wire goes to ground in crank position, C-body only.

That makes sense. I guessed this was updated way back my nos is 18 years old.
Appreciate your help.
