i am having a time with my rear side panels and how they attach to the rear panel on my roadrunner i just bought the car a few months ago anyone got any suggestions

There should be wedge shaped metal brackets attached to the top of the inner structure that extend up to meet the trim panel...
And I believe L shaped brackets at the bottom... The bottom I could have wrong, I own B & E verts, the E definitely has L brackets.. I think the B does too...

No L brackets on a 70 b-body convertible. The side panels have a large "ear" that fits inside the metal back panel on both sides & 1 or 2 screws (I'd have to look) going down from on top of the metal back panel down into the plastic of the rear side panels.

I found these awhile back which should help.....
