70 negative battery cable

I am making the switch from points to electronic ignition by following the 70 schematic. I have purchased the 70 style 2 field alternator as well as the voltage regulator. What I want to know is what or where does the negative battery cable hook up to on the 70? The 69 has one lead for the negative but the 70 has 2. Does it go to the alternator directly or is the alternator grounded to the motor/body?

The large cable goes to the left front intake bolt and the small one goes to the core support.
