70 super bee shifter

on the 70 bee we just got the shifter is a hurst ball shifter. should it have a pistol grip? build date is 2/16/70.

Ball was inland shifter 69 and prior, 70 and up was pistol grip hurst.

A little off topic....I'm less familiar with the Super Bee, but wasn't it a Hurst Ball shifter in 69, like on the RR? Inland 68 and older and pistol grip 70 and up?

either way...yes, your 70 would normally have a pistol grip.

Depends if it was a D13 3-speed car or a D21 4-speed car from the factory check your fender tag or broadcast sheet for that information D21 would have been a pistol grip
