70 super bee stripe question

i posted this question in the "restoration" section, but have not gotten any responses. I'm getting ready to lay my stripe and need to finish this out the right way.
"My 70 Bee is getting it's black Bumble Bee stripe reinstalled after paint. My rear marker light Bezels are chrome. Is this correct, or do they need to be black to match the stripe? I've seen it done both ways. Thanks for the help on this". Nicholas

from what I've seen its about split side marker light matches stripe and the other half are chrome

Muy 1970 Superbee, original paint car, original stripe car has chrome.

You are comparing a 69 to 70. 69 should be painted to match the stripe. 70 should be chrome like super-bee_ski's

Thanks guys. The marker lights that came with the car are chrome, but I didn't know if they were replaced at some time. I'll probably re use them.
