i am finishing up a 70 bee clone project...not stock, with aftermarket buckets...and a few other things....anybody have any recommendations for some nice wheels?

the car has a plum crazy and black theme....plum crazy body ...black c stripes....black interior....

i would love to see some pics and suggestions... thanks all!

Don't have any pics but you can't go wrong with oldschool cragar ss or the keystone classics.

American Racing has some very cool vintage styles like the Salt Flat "Halibrand" look a likes or the Shelby Cobra style wheels, also the VN801 Daytonas are a real nice looking wheel, 15" diameter or larger up to 18" max, any bigger looks like a Tonka toy, width of 8"-9.5" in the rear 7"-8.5" in front, all with the proper rear back spacing to clear all rubbing issues, suspension, wheel wells etc., some thing along the lines of 245/60's in front 295/50's {maybe 275/60's if wheel well aren't big enough} in rear {or equal sizes}, classic forward LA rake, it will look sweet...

Back in the eary '80s, my buddy had Torque Thrusts on his '70 Bee. It was an orange car, and they looked great on it.

Would be hard to say the Keystones wouldn't look great on it..

I had Crager SST`s on my 70 Bee at one time. They were the flat chrome style. They would look great with purple & black. Seems like lately everyone is going with the classic Cragers so it might set yours apart from others but still have a old school look.
