I have used a Wilcap adapter kit in the past to bolt up a 4L60E to a Gen III hemi, it works well.
Using a 700R4 will dictate the use of a TV cable to control line pressure, if you are using a carb on the Hemi, that wont be much of a challenge, but if you are using a drive by wire throttle body EFI then you have a problem to overcome.
I ended up getting an Ultrabell bellhousing for a 700r4 to a Big Block Mopar. They didn't list it but I emailed them directly and they had the program to machine a bellhousing for that combo. They show an Ultrabell for a Gen 3 Hemi so I would give them a call or email them to see if they can make you one to fit a 700R4. I went the Ultrabell route since most of the adapters out there put the starter in a weird spot than the headers don't fit plus it pushes the transmission farther back in the trans tunnel which is not good since the trans tunnel on the mopars are usually pretty tight to begin with and causes more clearance issues.
