Having a little trouble so I thought I'd ask some experts or at least someone a little more....seasoned. I have a mid year 71 R/T Charger. I got it to replace the R/T my father sold to buy us school supplies and clothes way back when. (wish I could have found it for the same price he sold it for or at least in the same condition) It was to be a father son project but with my father's passing it is just a son's project. Both front fenders have some cancer in a few areas. I know the 71 was a one year only fender after 71 they went to a raised marker light. Can I use the fenders off a four door Cornet of the same year or does it have to come from a Charger? If it has to be a charger can it be a base Charger?
Any help will be of great help.

Try AMS obsolete they may have 71 Fenders I've wondered if 72 Charger fenders will fit my 72 Coronet

Not sure about coronet fenders .
But any 71 charger will work from stripped to loaded there all the same .
You also might want to try a set of 72 fenders and just cut out the marker lights and weld in the proper ones .(off your old fenders)
Look around here I'm pretty sure there's a 71 being parted out with good fenders

After looking at a set of coronet fenders I noticed that the rear section where it mounts by the door is different and front where the valance bolts to is different.:banghead: Oh well. AMS obsolete looks promising through I'll give them a call.
