Greetings, what do you think of this? $28.97 ship comes with 180 degree T-stat. My housing is disintegrating - not concerned if not OEM/NOS. Also want to replace upper & lower hoses, looking for nice fitting good quality hoses (last set from RockAuto terrible quailty)

Our experience with aftermarket water outlets is not good.
I would try and find a good used original and clean it up.
The opening for the thermostat is usually too deep.
The 12 pt bolts wouldn't look right either but that's a minor point.

I've never had a problem with RockAuto hoses.
They offer all the brand names?

My experience lately is that the old part numbers for bb hoses, especially the lowers, have been merged with another hose that's close but not the same and really interferes with the oil filter.

If you are not concerned about orginal, I got tired of messing with them, always leaking. Flashpower o-ringed thermostat housing was my choice, never looked back. E bay. Robert Shaw thermostat, 370 type, that's the large thermostat. Hoses, preferences other than putting a spring in the lower hose.

Is that pronounced "frashpowa"?

Ha Ha. How much of what you now buy for your car is made here? Under a different name, probably made in the same place. All that I know is that they fixed my leak problems, have them on all 3 cars.

Is looks like a good solution.
