71 Road Runner 4 speed Belhousing color

I'm restoring a 71 RR and am trying to find out the correct colors for the bell housing and inspection plate. It has an 833 4 speed with an aluminum bell housing. Thanks in advance for any info.

Same as the motor, orange.

72's are bare no paint on either. Cast iron where engine color. Do not rember seeking an aluminium one painted.I

All mine 70-2 aluminum housings were painted.

My 72 aluminum has no paint and has never had paint. Maybe paint was not available on its way down line!!

Most of mine are St. Louis and a few from LA and Windsor. 40 year olds cars maybe they just got painted somewhere along the line.

I painted the motor Hemi orange and left the bell housing a natural. My correct paint should have been turquoise for the motor. The rest natural.
