71 SSP Battery Tray Brace Question

I bought this, http://www.ebay.com/itm/321530991365?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT , to use after I put in a new inner fender on my 71 Plymouth Satellite. There is only 1 clip.. Which end does the clip go on and which end goes under the batter, which end goes to the inner fender. What goes on the other end?

I believe that the end with the round hole mounts to the inner fender via an 'u' clip that should be on the inner fender and the oblong slot end is the battery side mounted with the clip you received in the kit.
