Utah. $5000 obo Selling the old girl. 1971 Sunroof Bus, with newly rebuilt motor by VGM in Utah, less than 500 miles on it. Turned into a camper from a Transporter and does camp very well. Nice wood floors. Barely any rust, a little in the driver/pasenger footwell as with all of these vehicles. Little bit of body damage rear corner and nose but nothing too bad. It was hit from behind and pushed into the car in front. I've done some temporary tidy-up repairs and it's fine for now. Not original paint, but I have the details of when it was original from the M-Plate code. Great condition, runs and drives like a top, and gets smiles for miles as with all these old VW's.
Life is going in the right direction for me. House purchase (hopefully) imminent. Found my place on the planet. Found the girl of my dreams. I am looking for a 1975 Coronet, 77-79 Monaco/Fury 4 door sedan, if anyone fancies a trade.
There's been some interest, but nothing solid. I'm not doing a hard sell, I am simply letting the Universe do it's thing.
But I will say, nowhere else will you find a running, driving, non rusty sunroof early bay with a new engine rebuild for the price I want. Take it from me, the cost of these things is stupid now. If it were original , and was in Excellent shape (it's actually in great shape not quite excellent) it would be failry priced a 10-12k. I cannot believe that, and it actually annoys me. Anyways, please contact me if you have any questions! I'm in Utah.
