Bottom line- 400-4bbl 4 speed non-Roadrunner...IS RARE.

Is it desireable? Only the market will tell, but IMO- yes.

Is it more desireable than the same car with a 400-2, or 318... for sure!

If its a real 400 4bbl 4 speed its a pretty rare car. The first 6 digits of the vin should be RP23P2. If the body is overall good shape I say buy it. According to the book I have, total production numbers for the Satellite Sebring Plus for 1972 was 21,399 how many of those do you think were 400 4bbl cars, then add in the fact that its a 4speed. I'd say those numbers just got real small. JMO.

That is completely wrong.
Satellite Sebring Plus came with
318 2 bbl w/auto
400 2bbl,w/auto
400 4bbl with auto
BUT the 400 4speed can ONLY be a 4BBL steel crank engine.

It is a Road Runner without the badging and insurance premium
