727 push button valve body?

will a 62 727 push button tranny from a six cyl...have the same vb as a 63 pushbutton v8
 
bet it'll work, coming out of another 727. i think the real difference in cable valve bodies is the '64 floor shift and 65 column and floor shift. these two had different "rooster combs" and some differences for the manual shift valve to make park work. another note here; those valve bodies are becoming difficult to find. i wouldn't do a bunch of major mods unless you have some spare parts.

iam hoping i can take the parts from mine if needed and the other tranny vb and make one good one...
