I have a big block 727 tranny in a dodge ram. With the headers and kickdown cable it is tight in by the tranny lines. I have brass fittings on there now with rubber hose. I then double clamped that to 3/8 hardlines up to my tranny cooler.
I had one of the tranny lines pop on me a while back before I double clamped them. So I was wondering should I just use hardlines directly from the tranny eliminating the rubber chunks? Or is there a better way to hook up a flexible piece that wont pop off with pressure?
Since my 2002 ram messed up I am going to have to use the old 440 ram as a Daily driver, so looking to make it more reliable.
