727 trans mount needed

Regular ol' spool mount? I just got one from NAPA for 25 bux. Don't know the part #, but it was in stock. RockAuto is a good source for that kinda stuff too, if a regular parts store isn't convenient.

Why does all the auto parts stores show the mount with only one stud? My 65 coronet parts manual also show one stud. But my car actually has a mount with two studs and its the original one. I have an a v8 (318) with automatic. What goes on here?

Try mancini's I think they have then for 54 dollars.

If your not worried about being stock it doesn't take much to make Chevy S-10 pick-up mount fit, $15. I've used them on my 63 and 64 racecars.

Please tell me what those arms do/for off the trans to the crossmember? I like the look, but I'm sure there is more to it than that.

The motor is on a motor plate. The rods are to control fore and aft movement when the plate flexes. Not necessary with stock motor mounts. Car runs 9.30@146
