I have a 73 Satellite 318 powertrain that ive swapped into a 74 Ford Courier. I'm trying to start it but it doesn't want to start. I think I have a no spark situation.
I'm using the electronic ignition with a 4 pin ecu, the ecu, ballast, starter relay, and wires are all new. The 318 was running as is before I took it out of the Satellite so I believe the distributed, plug and wires are all just fine. I've been going off of this diagram for the wiring of the computer.
Now the red wire running the the ballast claims start but since I don't have a key ignition switch, just a toggle switch for ignition and a push button for starter if I do that it just wants to crank when hitting the ignition switch. So I have both of them going off of the same switch. Otherwise it is wired exactly as the diagram shows.
