Hey there. I bought a factory front sway bar to go on my '73 Satty that did not have a front sway bar originally. I see that I'm missing the lower control arm brackets, but I can get those off eBag. Can I get them anywhere else? What I'm also missing is a clip or bracket that attaches the end of the sway bar to the strut rod. That's what the pic looks like in the '73 service manual. Can you post a pic of that bracket from your original sway bar equipped car? And who repops it?

Thanks.

As shown above, the 73/74 bar attaches to the strut rod with clamps, unlike the earlier ones that bolt to the UCA and require welding brackets on.

73/74 cars not built with factory sway bars also lack the mount bosses at the front corners of the K frame.

Whoever put my aftermarket bar in had a hell of a time fabbing up a 1/4" angle iron mount bolted through a very small area of the frame under the ISO-biscuit and grinding/positioning the clamps to clear the K frame and the strut.

If it were me and labor was no object, I'd weld in triangular bosses, like the factory.

Hello, I have these strut rods from a '73 SAT that have the connecting brackets/bushings to the front sway bar. Is this what you need?

Ahh, so thats how the factory attached the front sway bar o 73-74's. For my non factory equiped 74 I went with a firm feel front swaybar and had to fab brackets to mount it to the k frame. It came with tabs that bolted to the lower control arm.

Don't think so...look at the bracket on the strut rod underneath the hose in the picture I uploaded. I don't see that on the strut rods you are showing.
Okay are you talking about the hangers?

1st pic is of the hanger (yellow circle)
2nd pic is of the topside of the k frame where the hanger mounts to (yellow circle)

Don't need the rod/stud. I need the bracket/clamp that attaches to the very end of the sway bar and to the strut rod. Look below the hose on the 1st picture I uploaded. Thanks.
