So I have seen that someone is producing full se grills and red se trims for them. Where can we get only the head light fillers. We all have original brown and shrunk fillers some can be re- painted and look better. New is always better.
thanks

full 73/74 SE grilles assemblies are soon to be available from Classic Industries, and ALSO their parts separatelly ( red stripe, headligth fillers and their retainers, not the grilles alone though ) but for SOME MISTERIOUS REASON, all the parts BUT the headlight fillers doesn't float on searching for 73 or 74 Charger... they floated on once when I searched like MOPAR 73 or 74 though...

however, type *MB9941 on the search box and will find them

I agree that search is odd to say the least.

You usually get 128 pages and what you are actually looking for is somewhere in the middle.

To make matters worse, the product descriptions mostly start with the same four or five words, and the graphic that comes up for each item truncates the text before the first word that is different.

Who designed that and said "wow, I'm brilliant" "That's Sooo much better than a "regular" search."???

Thank you over there in Venezuela! I looked on line and then I called Classic Ind. The guy on the phone could not find them, can you believe it?, so I am happy I am on this B Body forum, I have them ordered them just now and will wait until they arrive here in Massachusettes. Finally is right, I have been waiting for 30 years for these to be reproduced. My grills are in excellent shape and have repainted the silver, the se red trim molding is excellent also no pits and I repainted the red trim area by hand, polished the metal part by hand matching the original color. Thanks for your help!

You can read all my posts at dodgecharger.com board ( old and newer board ) since 2002 allways demanding for this part and bumper fillers being reproed. FINALLY these are on the way to be made. Fortunatelly on a more less affordable price. My grilles are not perfect, but decent. I'd like new grilles and tail light housings, but the grilles ( and if some day the tail light housings ) are WAY away of my budgect. Thanks got plastic pieces can be fixed and painted hidding any fix.

There was a try for bumper fillers, and the guy who made them just got to made a small run of them. Got 4 corners and front center. Center front is quite perfect ( he got to sell some on ebay ). 4 corners are a good aproximation though.

HOWEVER! I'll wait for headlight fillers testimonials. I'm tired of bad quality reproductions pieces. Pay international shipping and get the bad surprise after a long way to home without a chance to a claim because is more expensive to ship them back is really TERRIBLE.

Is not posible to make the preorder paying with paypal thought ( I just can paypal ), so I have to wait anyway.

If anyone just needs the black plastic retainers I have a pair of OEM ones in mint condition(see pic) and I will sell them for less than what CI wants for them (CI's price is $116.99 pair). Although I didn't see a listing from the link above. But here's the link from the one you posted on DC.com (Nacho)

Why did they include "Super Bee" in the listing description? LOL

And yes, Classic Industries search engine is an absolute joke.

My black plastic retainers are excellent, so when the new head light fillers come in I will let you know what they look like and the quality, I can attach photos too. your Charger looks great

Thanks!

The avatar pic is a bit old. Have a newer one posted, somewhere LOL.

I HOPE will get a nice discount code when they are available. 3 days ago with same code on website now, was free shipping and 15% in $99 orders. Now is $199. If I would buy now, that gets me out of the discount!

I just saw a picture of the new 73 charger head light grill fillers they look really good, I have them ordered. They are now on back order and I look forward to the new parts on my grill. The SE grill trims however are looking a too red, I have the original ones and they are a redish orange color, mine are excellent and I repainted by hand in the correct color. I think if you could shop and actually see the parts before you purchased them, it would be better, all we have is very poor quality photo on a web site.

Yes, definitelly the red bar looks to be too much red. I have a NOS one and that's not the shade but like you told an orange redish shade. Same or allmost the same than hood Magnum emblems in fact!. Would need to see the pieces though. Web Pics not allways shows the real shade.

and well, buy from the distance is allways risky! I have had a victim of that and if was able to see personally all what I have bought maybe was able to save maybe US$2000-2500 allong these years what left my pockets buying $hit!

I predicted in 1994, a return to catalog showrooms where they have one of everything for you to see and touch, but not take home. For that, drop ship.

Remember those?

and still on "pre-order"

how many time an item can be on "pre-order" trustfully they will be really released?

I think this is not good.

I have had these on order since October, I called and Classic Industries told me they being re-tooled, more waiting but there is not any other replacements so far.
