Based in the UK and looking to replace the interior on my 73 Roadrunner, the old blue set is worn and tatty. Looking to get the seats lined but are there any places in the US where I can source parts like door cards etc
Hi. I've sold a lot of parts to guys in Europe, and you also have to deal with sky-high shipping costs, customs, etc. What I usually do for them is ship their parts to a regional exporter, who then combines their parts with other shipments and that brings down the costs.
Are you looking to do a full restoration or just get your car looking good? There are often nice sets of used panels for sale on ebay, but most of them are black, blue, or green. If you want white, gold, etc., you'll likely have to buy new ones.
How bad is the interior? If it's just faded and a little scratched up, I would paint it since you're wanting to go to black. Put a good coat of primer on the plastic panels, and then spray a semi-glass black over top. I did that to several panels on my car and they still look like new three years later.Great Ino, thank you
My car has a light blue interior and I want it all changed to black, it'll never be a car for the purists so the changeneral in original colour doesn't concern me
Just found a gent who imports Co trainers into the UK every mo the or so, so will use him for shipping
Thanks guys
Hi, I would be interested in the door panels and especially the sail panels. What are you asking for them and shipping to the St. Louis Missouri area? Thanks.I have both front and rear upper door panels that are blue. These come from a 1973 Plymouth Satellite Sebring Plus with the deluxe interior. These are in good shape with some small defects. I also have the plastic sail panels (blue) in real nice shape.
