73 Ralley Gauge removal

I'm stuck at the speedo cable & the temp control switch. Any help past them is greatly appreciated.

For the speedo, reach all the up to the back of the panel and you squeeze the clip tip and twist and pull. The clip looks kinda like the pocket clip on a ball point pen. Do it gently, pull straight, and don't release the clip until its free of the housing. For the heater control, there are 2 ways. The hardest is remove the screws that hold it to the back of the panel. Easiest is unplug the harness and then pull the vacuum hoses, 1 at a time and note what tips there were attached to. Do that carefully so you don't crack the plastice tips on the back of the switch.
