73 RR power bulge hood insulation

MHB71 from Year one is the molded hood pad, and I got mine about 4 years ago, perfect fit. If you have a discount code it will be even better price. You might check other sources, such as Classic Industries, because YearOne shipping is a bit much. There are some other places that sell the non-molded pad for around 35 bucks, but I don't thing it looks as good.
Here is what my molded one looks like.

Instead of Year One (which they screw you on shipping) try:

Detroit Muscle Technologies

That is the difference between a molded and standard hood pad. The one you listed is not the molded version. I think the molded ones look better and they fit the contour of the hood.

Also, their site states,

"This will not fit the Power Bulge hoods. I'm interested in getting an original molded hood pad from a Power Bulge hood car to duplicate. Please contact me if you have one."

No worries. The nice thing about the one from YearOne is they do ship it in a flat box, so its not bent or rolled, and I have to say it was one of the few quality parts I got from them.

Did they charge you "oversized" shipping.

I don't believe so, its not as big as you might think, but it was part of a very large order when I started my restoration, so I can be certain what the shipping cost was.

Okay the reason I asked was that if YO did charge you for oversized shipping instead of folding the insulation to fit a smaller box, they would pawn it off as they're looking out for your best interest of getting the product shipped to properly thus behind the scenes they now have a reason to jack up their shipping cost.

Anything negative I can think of as to what YO does to ripoff customers off I will lol.

That is why I only bought stuff when I had 30% discount code at the time, however, thankfully there are other vendors for much of what I needed back then and at lower prices and better shipping. If I ever have to do it again, they would be last on my list. But like I said, they do have some things that no one else does that are very good quality, and things like wire harnesses that you can only get from them.

Agreed as I used them before such as under dash wire harness with the 30% off. But now CI has under dash harnesses available. Made by M&H.

That was in the past and I'll do my best to avoid YO.
