Does any one know of a source for the wheel well lip chrome?

how far do I have to bend over to get 4 new ones?

That all depends on what car you are talking about. I have been looking for 73 Roadrunner trim, and its almost impossible to find, i have only found one salvagable one so far while looking for a year. I even posted here a finders fee for anyone that can locate any for me.

I'm looking at a 73 Road Runner and it has them on it. I'm not sure of what kind of shape they are in as I have only seen pics of the car but follow my name and you will find a thread about the car with pics.

I was thinking about buying the car and hot roding and then I was thinking of flipping it or parting it depending on what kind of shape it is in.

If the quarters, trunk. wheel housing and floors are good I wont part it out but if bad I would part the car.

Also check with Jeremy at http://www.musclecarcreations.net/ and his phone number and email is listed on his site. I think he may have a set. I'm not 100% sure but I think so. Tell him Kevin sent you.

I lucked out and got a set from another forum member, but I'll take a look around down at J&J next time I go down there.

Cool, thanks i fired off an email to him, let me know if you guys find anything. Just wish someone would start making them!

Let me know if you hear back from Jeremy and if he doesnt have them I can check with a guy in VA that has been restoring a 72 and I think he has parted out some 73-74 RR as well.

I'm still on the fence about buying the 73 because I want this 71 but I might go look at the 73 and see how bad it is.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Jeremy does not have any wheel lip trim for 73/74, but he says he gets a lot of people asking for it!

this is crazy

I was actually given this with my 73 rr recently when I bought it it is all in original wrapping except one which looks perfect. I was told the original owner bought it years ago and never had it installed when he repainted the car. I didn't realize this stuff was hard to find.

Let me know if you want to sell the set or if any one else has a full set I have some cash......

I have some of that and some similar I don't know what it came off of.

Knew you would have them. I sent your name good luck on the sale.

Yup LOL, funny thing is I saw this thread and thought I just saw some of those laying around here somewhere and dug them out and when I got home I had a PM. I thought "how did they know?"

I have 1 complete set from a 73 SSP and 3 of the 4 pieces from a 74 RR. Then I have a complete set that looks similar and I have know idea what it came off of (its the 2nd picture).

I knew you would have them and I thought Jeremy had some as well but he has none and gets asked all the time.

I remembered after posting you said you had some 73-74 parts off of a RR so I was like well I need to send the info out lol.

The 73 Road Runner here has them on it and I'm so tempted go look at the car and if it needs to much work just part it out but I'm scared I will lose my 71 Road Runner money that I'm trying to build back up after paying for some classes.

Well any ways guys it looks like the parts you're looking for are right in front or I should say right above me...us but you know what I mean.

I am not sure what that second picture is from, on the 73, there are no underside holes for screws, and it is just the flat style, the trim does not run underneath the wheel lip. Maybe those are 71/72 or 74?

Here are better pics of what I have
