Hi
I was wondering if anyone in the
Group replaced the lower plastic
Bearing bushing in a 1974 or
Newer none tilt column.
I found out the steering column
Changed in 74 and the lower
Plastic shift tube bushing is
Serviced as a complete assy
The shift tube was sold by
Mopar as a assembly with the
Bushing installed on the shift
Tube.
My question will the bushing
From a 73 which is available
Be the same dimensions and
Be able to be installed on the
74 shift tube if old bushing
Is removed. Mine is worn out
And rattles. Thanks for any
Info that can be provided.
