Picked this up last night. 1 of 208 440 Rallyes. Anyone know production on JL6 Aztec gold with Aztec cloth interior Rallye? 48,806 original miles, no rust ever, working a/c, I am 3rd owner.

Nice car! unfortunately for us, nobody at Chrysler kept the kind of records that could tell us how many cars were made in each color and with different options. But being able to say 1 of 208 is not bad in itself!, did I say nice car?.

damn hoss! wish i coulda found a car like that! did that not come with vinyl originally? or has it been pulled off? just wondering because my charger has that same roof chrome piece

Nice looking car you picked up. Love the exterior color and interior combination....nice.

The black vinyl top is there and from the factory. This is a WH23U4A so vinyl was a special order. The car was well taken care of and I looked it over very carefully. The grain is different than the cobra grain on my '73 SE.

Thanks Matt. I was thinking of getting Brian's 71 R/T but it closed out on eBay so I went after this one. Probably better for me because when I get my tag, this one is ready for the road.

I want that.

Aztec BENCH. Never seen one of those.

If anyone wants a simmilar 318 SE car with the same colors (Aztec buckets, and white SE top), it's on Tampa craigslist for $3000 obo. Looks like a light dose of bodywork that needs touched up.

Great Charger! I would have bought that one over my car - you done well!

Damn , that's one gorgeous Charger ! Great score !

What other options does that bad boy have ?

Those seat inserts look great ; love that pattern !

Brian, I was seriously considering your '71(we talked a couple weeks ago) but after it sold(I know it didn't now) and this guy finally called me after a month, I jumped on it.

Since it's a Lynch Road car, not many codes on the vin tag but I did get a crumpled build sheet from the rear seat. Trying to flatten and piece it togther. Rust free JL6 Aztec gold poly with N1YW Aztec trim that is not even stained or frayed, V4X black vinyl top which is beautiful, H51 working a/c and heat, great sounding am/fm stereo radio with factory rear speakers, rear defogger, G11 tinted glass, close to mint gold pile carpet with period correct gold mats, G-70-14 Goodyear white letter polyglass spare never on ground but split opened on sidewall from heat, A57 package - rallye gauges with 120 speedo and tach - no vent bulge hood with 440 magnum callouts - V6A longitudinal stripes - rear sway bar, optional rear pan with cutouts, original pipes were removed around '75 or '76 and Direct Connection glass packs(DC Stores stickers still present) added with turn down tips(gun tips are gone), Magnum 500 wheels, chrome drip rail, wheel well trim and larger SE type rocker moulding. Dual chrome sport mirrors that have a little peppering but no pits. I looked it over a little and looks like the jack has never been used, lifted corners of the trunk mat and the floor is beautiful, not even stained. Wish the mat didn't stick. Factory markings on trunk lid, on spare and all over the engine compartment. Strange looking seals on radiator support and front pan I have never seen before, single snorkle air cleaner with strange flapper type door on botton passenger side, only a single horn but it works, tach is not working and entire cigar lighter is in the non-yellowed glove box. Dash has a couple cracks but has strange looking passenger side dash trim in factory black with the large section between the vents raised about 1/2 inch and no Charger emblem. Rear bumper will need to be chromed due to rust where the water dripped from the trunk gutters and the passenger front fender has some light creases and scrapes. All in all for what I paid, I think I got about 150% of what I was expecting. Also have 7 of the original spark plug wires. All I plan to do is clean it up, put a good coat of wax on it, change some fluids and plugs, get some quiet mufflers and see about the original TQ as it runs kinda ruff. Might just be from sitting.

that is a nice looking charger,i would think that color would be low option number since that is 1 of 208 car.
