Rebuilt 4 years ago, never used. 489 case, for 8 3/4 rear end, 3.23 gears, open diff, 30 spline. Spins freely with a wrench. Was intended for use in a 71 Charger R/T with 440 and 727. Pickup only in 94087, NO shipping.

Gotta be a 489 given the car I ordered it for. I'll double-check the casting numbers on the side when I get home and update if it's not. Per the tag it looks like an open diff, but no guarantees.

I found an image of an emailed receipt... confirms 489, and "Open". Not sure what else open could mean, but I'll qualify with "caveat emptor" since I'm not going to yank this beast out of the bucket to check.
