I have some axle shafts from a 1971 B-100 van. They can be cut down to A body length.
How many people still use cut and resplined axle shafts ?
These are 31 3/8" from flange to the end and there is adequate thickness to cut and respline: What are these worth? $100 ?
While we are at it.....How about an 8 3/4" housing?
It measures approximately 59" from backing plate to backing plate. It too was from that '71 Van. It needs to have the spring perches moved to fit a car and will need to be narrowed.
