I have a 68 charger that has an open 742 rear end. I'm looking at after market posi units to build it back with. who have you bought from that turned out good? DR diff, Jegs?
Thanks

Following, I’m looking for an eight and three-quarter sure grip rear end for my super B. It came with a 489 case and 3.23 gears however I’d like to go to 3.5 or maybe 3.91

Don’t put a powertrax locker in for street driving. They ratchet going around the corners but are locked while going straight, I have the one I put in with Richmond 3:91 ratio that I’m taking out to go back to 3:23 for my RT , in away I’ll describe it like a Detroit locker only worse. Very positive traction!

Pricey but, the Torsen (sp?) geared units are the ultimate.

Dr. Diff has the superior customer service and knows Mopar. For any mail-order axle needs (other than like a custom Moser or something) I wouldn't even consider anyone else...

Eaton TruTrac. I have one in both my cars. Love em. No special fluid required and quiet.

Dr. Diff is the man you need to talk to, he will get you squared away.
