833 professionally rebuilt, 2nd gear popping out occasionally

Sounds like a problem with the slick shift stuff. Assuming all else has been checked and verified by qualified people. in 30 years I've never done those mods, nor needed to. But as they are the only modified parts in there, I'd be looking there.

had the same deal slow to go around corner and bang , was told its the dog teeth . look for a SLIGHT wear on them nothing noticeable just the sharp edge removed .apparently that's all it takes ,mines away having them replaced with new

the Dog teeth engage the synchro slider gear, the teeth were worn at a very very slight angle. When the gear is engaged, the ever so slight angle or ramp would allow the slider gear to slide off of the 2nd gear.
