Question about a 74 dart. (not a B body I know) I think they were A bodies? Anyway I am not a member of FABO so I am asking if anyone here would know what engine would have been stock for a 74 Dart? Seen one for sale and it has what appears to be original V8. Car is in great shape and priced modestly. Don't know a thing about them. But this one seems to be highly optioned.

Could've been anywhere from a slant 6 to I think they put a hemi in a few of them, you need to run the VIN and fender tag

Could be the original motor but you'd need to check the numbers on the block as well to verify

The "G" would indicate a Factory 318 CI - 2BBL. A step up from the /6...

The car has tilt wheel , AC , Auto trans. Great rust free body. Can be had for 2500.00 Was pulled from a storage building. Not known how long it sat there. Has a sheriff's title.

Not sure what a sheriffs title is but I'd grab it for 2500, I like those cars

It means when it was pulled out of storage (they hadn't paid for a year)The sheriff issued a title for the car so it can be sold. Not a salvage title but like the original for money owed .

It sounds like a great car to clean up tune up and drive. If it were here I would buy it in a second.
