I've got a '66 charger that I'm preparing to install aftermarket (Classic Auto Air) air conditioning in.

Part of my install plan is to use factory original AC vents, instead of the junky plastic ones included with the kit. I've got the vents in hand, but I need a kind soul to provide a measurement (and a picture or two!) for placement of the vents...

The passenger side is obvious - there is a pair of holes that seem to match perfectly on the bottom edge of the dash. The driver side vent is less obvious to me. And the center vent, well.. Not sure where that one belongs - is it centered under the radio? Just a measurement from the outer edge of the lighter socket to the edge of the vent would probably get me what I need...

Thanks in advance!

if you have the OE vents...there are small holes under each side of the dash already there to mount them

get under there and look up...they are there

Thanks, I found the holes on the passenger side - I didn't see them on the drivers side - does the fresh air vent handle get removed/moved? Those aren't the tricky ones - it's the center vent (that I'll have to carefully cut the dash to mount!) that I'm really going to need to be measuring!

Keep us posted. Good choice on the AC, 10 years and COLD as ice with Classic Auto Air Tampa Florida. If you are sweating in your muscle car, it's because you are too cheap to buy after market air. Makes the wife/gf happy if nothing else. That helps the wallet keep funding our Legends.
